"There are not enough words to express how grateful I am to you all for the love and care you gave my mother. Individually, you all gave her something very special of yourselves. You gave so much of your heart and love without any reservation. The profound depth of this shared intimacy was a precious gift that I will cherish for a lifetime and it will continually provide me great comfort. My mother was not a very expressive person, but I know she kept you all in her prayers and loved you all very much. It was only a natural part of this process, that I would also love you all and grew in appreciation for the dedication and strength you exhibited every day to all the residents who depend so much on your care. In the end, it is not how many people loved us, but how many people we loved. All of you gave my mother so much sincere love and care that I will forever hold you in my heart."

"Brian, Cindy, and all of the beautiful caregivers that took such good care of my mother. All of you are very dear to my heart. Mom would tell me from time to time how good you were to her. I can't thank you enough for the love and dignity you gave her. You made her feel she was needed and that was so important to her. I will be back to see you from time to time because you feel like family to me. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you. With love,"

"Thank you so much for the wonderful care you extended to my mother while she was staying with you. We so appreciated the warm, friendly home atmosphere afforded to her, my husband, and me. As you know, we had moved my mother from a lovely-to-look-at facility in Stockton that presented a nice front but actually did little to meet my mother's needs. When she moved to Chico to be closer to us, and so that we could more closely monitor her care, we had little hope of finding a place for her that wouldn't need our constant supervision to ensure that she would receive the care she required and deserved. It was so refreshing and comforting to find Roses and Ivy! We soon learned that our supervision was not needed, and we were able to visit just because we wanted to do so. Again, thank you for your caring attitudes. You made my mother's final days pleasant for both my mother and our family. Even her friends who visited remarked what a nice place Roses and Ivy is. God bless you! If we hear of someone needing loving, compassionate care for their parent, we will not hesitate to refer them to you. With appreciation,"
